WALTHAM, MA (November 17, 2008) - T3 Advisors, (www.t3advisors.com), a full-service corporate real estate firm, announced today that Greg Hoffmeister Managing Directors and co-founder of T3, has been elected to serve as a member of the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham Board of Trustees.
Previous to his appointment to the Board of Trustees, Greg served the hospital for two years as a member of BID Needham’s Board of Advisors. As a 5th generation resident of Needham, Greg understands the important role the hospital has played in the community over the years. “T3 and its professionals believe in supporting both the local business and not for profit communities. My family and I have seen this community hospital evolve over the last century into one of the premier regional hospitals in the area. I am truly honored to be affiliated with this institution” said Hoffmeister. In his role as a member of the Board of Trustees, Greg also serves on the Campaign Planning Committee which has recently embarked on a $5 million capital campaign to provide financial support to the Hospitals South Wing expansion project which includes 24 new private rooms for inpatients, a state of the art emergency room and a new MRI building. “With a sharp rise in discharges and ER visits that have seen a 31% increase over the last 5 years, the time had come for the physical plant and infrastructure of the hospital to be upgraded to remain on par with the high quality medical care being delivered to patients”, said Hoffmeister, “This is a very exciting time for the hospital and the surrounding communities it supports. I am thrilled to be a part the lay leadership of BID Needham that will help ensure that this thriving institution will continue to provide world-class medical care close to home for many generations to come” said Hoffmeister. Greg lives in Needham, Massachusetts with his wife, Michelle and their four children. This community hospital, previously known as The Glover Hospital, joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in 2002.
