The Team
Roy Hirshland,
President
hirshland@t3advisors.com
As president and co-founding partner of T3 Advisors, Roy sets the firm's strategic direction
and provides leadership to ensure unrivaled service for the firm's clients. His passion for delivering
the most effective real estate solutions and building valued relationships with T3 clients of all
sizes is renowned in the industry.
Considered one of the Northeast's leading brokers and real estate advisors, Roy has completed projects
and leases totaling more than seven million square feet throughout the United States and in Australia,
Belgium and the United Kingdom. He has been instrumental in some of the region's largest projects,
including two campuses totaling 600,000 square feet for RSA Security and 450,000 square feet of
acquisitions and dispositions for Allaire Corporation (now Adobe).
Roy's passion for exceptional service is guided by the belief that "you get out of a relationship what
you put into it." Having worked with one particular client since it had 40 employees to its current 1,500,
Roy has been involved with more than 60 leases worldwide for them. "I know the CEO through to the facilities
people. That is why I love the service business. I get to meet dozens of interesting entrepreneurs who are
passionate about what they do."
Roy is highly recognized for superior results on behalf of his clients: by Mass High Tech in 2002 as one of
the "High Tech All Stars," in 2001 by Mass High Tech as one of the "Ten Business Leaders to Watch," and in 2002
by Boston Business Journal as one of the "40 Under 40," a group of business leaders having a significant impact
on Boston's business and civic communities.
Prior to founding T3, Roy was a partner, board member and senior vice president at Meredith & Grew/ONCOR
International. Before Meredith & Grew, Roy served as senior vice president at Spaulding & Slye/Colliers, where
he earned numerous awards, including Broker of the Year.
A graduate of Colby College, Roy learned the basics of business at the world-renowned Procter & Gamble sales
management training program and then worked at the consumer products company. He made the switch to commercial
real estate when he decided that he was "more excited about buildings than cake mix" and wanted to be involved
with an industry that was rooted in the local economy and community.
Roy lives in Concord, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter. When he is not speaking on leadership and
entrepreneurship, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family – especially cheering on his ice-hockey
player daughter. Roy is currently on the Board of Governors of Nashawtuc Country Club and is President of
Concord Carlisle Youth Hockey Association.
